Little Flower School (LFS), BasilNagar, Aroor is an English Medium Co- educational institution, established in 2001. Its former name was Holy Angels Residential School, Aroor run by Sir Sebastian Charitable Society. The School got NOC from the General Education Department of the State of Kerala in 2002 with the NOC No. 28073 / N-3 / 2002 / G. Edn., dated 15 / 07 / 2002. The School got affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE), NewDelhi, in 2003 with the Affiliation No.KE.081/2003. Little Flower Congregation purchased this School in 2014. The Schoolis under the governance of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers), an indigenous Catholic Christian Religious Society founded in 1931 in Kerala by late Very Rev.Fr.Basilius CST (Fr.ThomasPanatt). After the strenuous effort to change the management and name of the school we got the NOC revised from the General Education (N) Department G.O. (Rt.) No. 4008 / 2016 / G. Edn., Thiruvananthapuram, dated 23/11/2016, in the name of Little Flower School, Basil Nagar, Aroor, managed by the Little Flower Generalate Educational and Charitable Trust, Reg. No. 125 / IV / SRO / TKA / 2014, Thrikkakara, and hence at present the school is owned and managed by the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers), whose Head Quarters is at Thrikkakara.

Little Flower School is named after a young saint of the modern world - St Therese of Child Jesus, popularly known as St Little Flower- who died in the prime of her youth in the first quarter of this century while leading an ordinary and simple life. She has got much appeal to the modern men - both young and old alike and she is the inspiration behind all our educational endeavours.
Little Flower School is situated at Aroor,“the home of the Arayans”, in the district of Alappuzha-an ancient city known as “the Venice of the East”. It is located one km away from Aroor Railway Station and is a fur longaway from Aroor Kshetram Junction in N.H.47, towards the East on the way to Arookutty and is adjacent to the famous Aroor Kshetram. Aroor is a beautifull and scape surrounded by backwaters. This beautiful place is spread on the shores of the famous Lake Vembanadu which is linked to the Arabian Sea.
The School Campus is spread out in lush green surroundings of plants and trees at Basil Nagar, a place of tranquility, away fromt he topsy-turvidom of the city life. The School Campus also enviably enjoys the serene atmosphere, fresh air, and greeneries with pleasant environment which is conducive to the teaching and learning process. Being governed by the Catholic Church, a minority community, Little Flower School, has the primary objective of educating the children of the community.
