Computer literacy has become the language of our daily life. Today a person without computer knowledge is considered an illiterate person. Therefore, the Little Flower School has taken special care to impart this knowledge to our students. Computer Science as a compulsory subject is introduced into the School Curriculum with the intention of accelerating a creative interest in modern technology and scientific knowledge. Students are guided by able and experienced Staff. They are introduced to Internet and Information Technology from the very beginning of their education.

‘A Sound Mind Stays in a Sound Body’. The School gives due importance for physical fitness through regular physical training, sports and games, Annual sports and games is held every year. Besides, students get opportunities to take part in the Inter-House and Inter-School Competitions and friendly tournaments with other Schools. Participation in sports and games and drill is compulsory for all. Therefore nobody will be given exemption in this regard.

With the help of a CounseLling Centre the School tries to help all Flowers to have an integral development of their personality by imparting right values and attitudes towards oneself and to the society at large. The Counseling Centre facilitates the development of remedial systems for students whose inadequate motivational factors have kept them away from achieving their potential. Through the Centre the School makes arrangements for qualified experts in Clinical Psychology to help the students in managing their emotional and psychological problems in relation to their personality, school life, curriculum, career and study. The Centre also concentrates on students who do not perform well in their exams and are irregular in attending classes. Beside this, each student is placed under the care of the staff closily closely monitors their conduct, performance and attendance in the Campus. The under performers along with their parents are called to the Centre for a meaningful discussion to sort out problems and find remedies.

School buses will ply for the transportation of the children, however:

• Preference will be given to the children of the lower classes.
• Conveyance fees will be charged for all twelve months
• Bus fees to be deposited in two instalments: FromJune to November and from December to April. However, it may be remitted in one instalment, if the parents desire so.
• The students go by bus have to keep the rule of language in the bus.
• Bus will run only in the prescribed routes. It is the responsibility of the parents / guardians to reach and receive the children at the bus stop.

‘Reading makes one Perfect’. Classroom teaching is not enough for the children to get deeper knowledge. Little Flower School provides the children a rich Library with variety of books on different subjects. The reference section of the Library is enriched with general encyclopedias and Encyclopedias on different subjects, Dictionaries of different languages and subjects etc. The School subscribes a varity of periodicals to cultivate the habit or reading and taking down notes by referring books and periodicals like India Today, The Week, The Indian Currents, National Geography and Competition Success, Reader’s Digest, Inspirational Quote, etc.

The School Library has an excellent and invaluable collection of books and journals on all subjects. These volumes include books for reading, reference works in all the fields, and periodicals. The computerized information on Library facilitates the use of Library with regard to the availability of books, journals and dailies.

The real education is the right formation with proper information for social transformation. This cannot be effected in the class-rooms alone. That is why the School authorities take up the initiatives for PTWA which consists of the parents, and guardians, teachers and well wishers of the students of Little Flower School at Aroor. The society with the well-wishers come together for effecting the social transformation to be affected as an outcome of a team work involving Parents, teachers and well-wishers. Local Manager of the School is the Patron of the Association. The aim of the Association is to help the Management in the smooth and efficient running of the school and in planning and executing the development and other innovative activities of the school so that it may achieve the best lofty ideals of education.

We are all Indians by birth. Hence, we all share the common heritage of our country called Bhaarat, which literally means place of light therefore we are duty bound to train ourselves to be the light of the World. Common Celebrations of our national festivals and religious feasts will help us to grow in nationalism. Communal harmony and respect for other religious, which have indeed become the need of the time. For the realization of these great ideal and noble objectives, the School proposes some important days which are important for the students to remember and celebrate.

• Attendance on the Independence Day and Republic Day is compulsory for all because these are the days we gratefully remember our heroes who sacrificed their life for the cause of our motherland and respectfully pay tribute to their heroic life.
